Yang Style Tai Chi ( 楊氏太极拳 ) is the most popular and widely practiced style of Tai Chi in the world and was formalized in the early 1800s by Yang Luchan. It is China’s most recognizable cultural art forms and has deep roots in traditional Chinese philosophy and self-cultivation exercises. The original and longest form consisted of 108 movements. As the practice grew in popularity, the number of movements were reduced to include simplified routines such as the 8 and 24 form which are included in this program.
